Dr. Mai X. Nguyen
Dr. Mai X. Nguyen was born and raised in San Jose, California and moved to Washington in 1998. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Washington in 2004. She has completed her B.S. in Vision Science and her Doctorate of Optometry in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She completed her training at Braverman Eye Center and Eye Centers of South Florida. She has practiced in a range of clinical settings with emphasis of ocular disease, oculoplastics, reconstruction surgeries, pediatrics, low vision, binocular vision, vision therapy, LASIK and cataract surgeries. Dr. Nguyen had LASIK in 2003.
She is now actively involved in the American Optometric Association, King County Optometric Society, and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. In her spare time she likes to travel, snowboard and dance.
Dr. Benjamin D. Crowell
Dr. Benjamin D. Crowell grew up in the Gulfport, Mississippi and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of South Alabama. He received his Doctorate of Optometry with honors in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Crowell began his career as a certified optician for six year prior to Optometry school. He has completed his training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute ad completed a Residency program at Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina.
After a few years of private practice on the East Coast, Dr. Crowell relocated to the Northwest. In his spare time he likes to snowboard and ride his motorcycle.
